Between Two Lovers

Listen to the bed moan,
Under the weight of two lovers,
Listen to the cutlery clatter in the kitchen,
Sounding like thunder,
And we produce the lightning.*

Watch as the curtains turn to ash,
And fire engulf the lovers,
The heat they produce,
Their bodies burning through friction,
